DAY 10
Jingle For My TV
Had a nauseous morning?
Spill coffee on your shirt?
Did a train-rider sneeze
a first cold tickle? What a jerk!
When the head begins pounding
and the nose starts to run,
rush home with some hot-sour
soup and grab the remote.
It’s time for Wednesday
and Thursday Night TV.
American Horror Story
Chicago Fire or PD
Law and Order SUV on NBC
and on the DVR The View.
As your cold turns to flu
and the shivers rattle,
Daytime talk shows
cook up dinner and prattle.
All my best friends flow
from screen to living room,
operate on my lungs.
remove my tonsils; they will be
new stars on Grey’s Anatomy.
